Do Alien's Exist?

That's what I've that's apparently the case. Yeah. I've uh it's just evidence. It's just an opportunity to share some things we feel strongly about.

Here's how here's my today. Recently I've had to make a few appointments, medical appointments. Okay. It's it's insane. Yes. I I have no tolerance for it. I'm done. Nobody does. This is a real problem for me. And I've always felt like, you know, for whatever reason in my life, and you can definitely attest to this because you've seen the compilation of challenges within my own life. But somehow, whether it be a medication where, hey, here's the worst side effects, but nobody ever gets them, Alden will. Um, or it's just like, you know, there's no way this could happen. It will happen all. Like that has just like been a thing. Now I don't want to speak that over my life. I don't want that to be something that continues in my life, but it certainly has followed me and it and it follow.

It sometimes influences my uh anxiety or nerves in moving in in certain directions. So, anyway, here's my point. I try to make some simple appointments, okay? And the process is so outrageous. I don't even so all right. So I'll just uh this is a a test, it's called a CT calcium score or calcium scan. It's a test everybody should do. Basically, just uh it's a CAT scan that just shows you if you have any buildup in your arteries yet. If there's any calcium building up in your arteries, so if you're at risk for heart disease or heart attack or anything like that, if you just everybody should do it. Um I have some family history of things uh like that in the family, so I figured I would do it. But I'm like, you know, how do you do this? So here's how it goes. I call my primary care, I call my doctor, the receptionist. I say, hey, I want to make an appointment um for a CT calcium score over here at this facility. Do I need a referral or a script from my doctor to do that? No, no, I don't think so. No, no, no. You should be fine. I said, okay, so I can call that facility and just make an appointment. Double check it. Yeah, should be fine. Okay, thank you. I call that facility. After 92 phone prompts, 67 different operators, 25 different, you know, individuals, they get me to the right person. It's a woman, I think her name was Jasmine or something like that. Betty. Yeah, Betty. I say, Betty, I'd like to make an appointment for a CT council. You need a referral. That's what she said. She said, Okay, you'll need a referral from your doctor. Oh, great. I called my doctor. They said I probably wouldn't. Yeah, no, you definitely do. I said, All right, so I can call them, get the referral, and call you back and make an appointment. Absolutely. Okay, bye. I call my doctor back. I am now in touch with the same receptionist. They said I do need a referral. Oh, you do. Oh, I'm so sorry. Okay. Well, then you'll just need the NPI number, the fax number, the address, the specialist name. I said, What? Why didn't why didn't you tell me that to start with? Why didn't she tell me? Why didn't Betty tell me that? If I'm gonna need a referral, okay, I'll get that information. Now I have to call back. Now I gotta go through 405 prompts and 622 different people and nine. And I finally get back to Betty. And Betty says, Okay, yeah, no problem. I got you. Let's get uh let's get you that information. She gives me all of that information. Awesome. Hang up, call my primary care. This is what I get. We are not in the office right now. Please call back later. Yep. For 30 minutes. So now I'm already 45 minutes into just trying to make one simple appointment. And now for the next 30 minutes, they're just not in the office. And it's two o'clock. It's not like it's they're not closed.

And so I just gave up and I came back two days later. And I called again. They finally picked up. I gave them the information. Ready? Awesome. And I call back to the place that I'm gonna go for this exam. And uh they're like, Great, okay, awesome. Oh, you got all that? Oh, wonderful. Good. Well, let's make you the appointment. They make it the appointment. And then she goes, Hey, just make sure that that referral gets to us. Um, I don't want you to come here. And it and I said, What do you mean? Wait, it hasn't gotten to you? I thought you were making the appointment for me because you got it. No. She said, Oh, no, no. Well, uh, you said that you got it. We believe that you got it, but we don't have evidence that you got it. I I said, Okay, well, all right. Well, I so what should I do? And she said, Well, call them and make sure that it was sent. Okay. So the appointment is now made, but they're not going to see me unless the referral actually gets to them. I call my doctor back for her to say, um, oh, yeah, um, we sent it. I said, Okay, well, they don't have it. What do I do? Well, they should see it at some point. Sometimes it takes a few days. I said, Well, my appointment's in two days. Like it has to get there within the two days. All right. Now I get a call from the facility, from them calling me, which I'm grateful for, saying, Hey, just you know, we we don't have the referral. Don't come in. Don't come in. Oh, okay. Well, what do I do? Well, here's the fax number directly to us. I said, So the fax that they gave me is not even to you. No, that was more a corporate office. So it would take this is insane. It's completely out of control. And so now I finally get the right facts, call my doctor again. She actually answers. They send it to her. Then I got the conference, and everything worked out. And my scores were great, by the way. Absolutely full. Oh Jesus. That was good. The point is, my open mic for the day is fix this. Because almost everywhere else on planet earth, you can go think, think, think, think, think on your phone and have an appointment in 13 seconds.

Can you imagine the elderly, somebody 89, 90, 91, trying to do this? It's a night, it's their whole life.

It's not fair. I mean, the whole medical industry in in general is pretty frustrating, even when you're in the hospital getting care so often. You have a million problems. Yeah, uh but this is this is our lives. I mean, like, I really this is important stuff. And you and you're dealing with receptionists who kind of don't care or have an attitude or aren't helpful, or they don't even think to you know, this all could have been resolved with my first phone call when I called my doctor, and she says, Oh no, I don't I'm pretty sure you'll be fine. Just make the make the call and make the mall. She could have just said, hold on one second, I'll check.

And they said, F them. That's what it feels like sometimes. But that's why should it feel like that's the way it is. One day I'll tell you Alden's compilation. The New York Mets, the New York Islanders, the New York Jets. Well, it really That's all sports related, but there's much more. No, but I'm talking about you walking into the building. You never did that with the Jets. But what you did to the Mets, what you did to the Islanders who were on their way to win a cup, one day we'll we'll talk about that. I'll just give you a quick one because you always ask me. Yeah. So uh we own a daycare church, and um we got a new uh unemployment identification number, uh-huh, and we didn't know why, and so our accountant tried to file, and he said, I can't file, Pastor Anthony, who does a new number. All right. 700 numbers, two weeks, nothing. So finally, I'll shout out to Tom, the Department of Labor. He said, Pastor, he's still this is what we're gonna do. You can only do this in our building. Come to our building, I'll literally hit the number. It may take an hour or two, but they'll resolve it. Okay, no problem. 97 minutes. And I had to go to the bathroom. Oh my gosh. Ran to the bathroom, and guess what I heard when I came back? After 97 minutes of listening, you know, hold on, hold on, it was disconnected. It's the second I left, they they came on. I can't even. So that was 110 minutes. So now I went the next morning and let's hope it worked. Okay.

But I get it, it's the most frustrating thing in the world. And then I forgot to add this. Yes, I did see that my scores were great, but in order to see your scores, you have you they give you a little code for a patient portal that you log into. And the only parameter that you need to put in in order to see it is the code and then your birth date. I put in the code, no problem. Then I put my birthday, it says invalid. So I had to call them and say, hey, you know, I'm doing this, and then it says invalid when I put my. Oh, really? Oh, let's take a look. Oh, yeah. So we have such and such birth date on uh I said, no, no, I'm you it's not December, it's September. Oh, okay. And so they had to fix it, which they did, which she fixed and didn't even know. She's like, I I so I fixed it. Here's the new code. I said, that's the same code. Oh, well, you know what? Your doctor's gonna call you anyway. Point is, she actually fixed it and didn't realize this is how incapable they all are. But here's my point in saying I when I went there, in order to walk into the room to get this exam, they're holding my chart, and the guy says, Please confirm your date of birth. So I tell them my date of birth, and he goes, Great, excellent. Which means you have the correct date of birth. How did it get wrong for my patient portal? How does this stuff happen? It's like, especially with me, it's always it is 100% of the time that everything that goes bizarre and sideways and wrong does. And you just like, and then so it's funny because my my parents laugh at me, but like anytime I have to make an appointment for something medical related or whatever, I like actually have anxiety over it. I have real like fear. It's like a and a a an actual fear of doing it has has grown, has become real for me because of this. And then I do then I go and I'll like explain myself. I said, just so you know, I made that appointment, but here's how it went. They laugh. But I'm I'm telling you that that's and I go, that's like how it is for everyone. I'm like, well, if that's the case and everyone deals with these challenges, that has to change. We gotta fix this, America. Please fix this. You're gonna honestly I you know how I would do it? You know how I do it? No, I go get hired. Hire me. I'll be the receptionist because I would have had that handled.

I'm not cheap, you're gonna have to pay me well, but you're gonna have a lot of happy customers. You're gonna get a lot of business. A lot of hoppies. Hoppies, you're gonna have a lot of business because these people are gonna be like, yo, whoever your receptionist is, that guy's phenomenal. He made the process seamless, smooth, fun, accurate, and and we want to come back.

And I'll throw another one in, and you know this to be a fact. When it comes to technologies, I have this gift of shutting things down, walking in. So Pastor Steven was in a national softball tournament. Probably uh am I wrong by saying 40 screens? I don't know how many. Oh, it's multiple, multiple. And you guys are calling me, you gotta watch the game, it's cool. And I said, uh you gotta give me some time. I'm doing something. And a half hour later, I literally hit it and all the screens went blank. That's right. And that has been following me. I think that's a really good segue. All seriously. I know it's the demon activity. I know it. You can't tell me that's a coincidence. I walk into banks. Oh my god, our computer. I know they shut down. I walked in. Yeah, I believe it's the frustration. Yeah, they know that I'm not patient, and that they will do anything to jam things up. I don't want to be a hyper Christian and um but I I think it's not wrong to talk about the activity that demons can have in technology, in the airwaves. It's very clear the Bible says even Jim Baker, who had the biggest ministry of the world had ever known, he would say that the demons would get into the sound system. They can do that.

So the we I this is perfect. So we're segueing in. I really do want to talk about the dark spiritual influence on everyday life and things in our world.

So but we do believe in that. We we're not afraid of demons. No, no. We have power over demons. Yes. But there is demon activity, and this is the way the Bible says it. Don't be deceived. They are liars, they've been lying since day one, since since they got two naked, upright, perfect people, they convinced them that God was a liar. And so their activity is still here today.

Scripture, do you know where it lives? I don't call the uh call Satan the prince of the power of the air.

Correct. Now again, he's an interesting statement. Yes, yes. But he he's let's never make it sound like he's the prince of this world because he's greater than God. No, not at all. He's the prince of this world because this world has invited him in and rejected God. Good. That's how it has made him prince. You guys have to understand that. You have made God. I'm sorry, you have made the devil your prince. If someone would have said to me, when I started drinking at 12 and drugging at six, oh, you're a servant, get the F out. Yeah, I was deceived. I was. And this world is deceived. It is duped. When you get saved, your eyes just unbelievably are lit up to see how much demonic influence is in this world.

Yeah, and I'm more highlighting just the fact that he's called the uh the power of the air. And so much of what we're about to talk about, even just technology, is the airwaves. That's right, whether that be Bluetooth, radio, media, medium, the air. Yeah, exactly. So it it's a it's an interesting thing. And where I want to go and what I want to talk about, because it's so much of national news these days and even global news, is UFOs aliens. Do they exist?

Are they among us?

Are they among us? Do we believe in them? What do we believe? Maybe even what could potentially even convince us of that possible reality, if anything. Okay. Um, and again, you said it earlier. I want to say it as well. I am definitely not um a hyper spiritual, wacky Christian who everything is the devil and everything. Or afraid of him. Oh, yeah, definitely not.

But I do think that the devil is crafty enough to use anything he can to steer anyone, including the believer, into believing something that is more natural or patch uh uh or um practical. And so, you know, we keep getting these reports oh, these UFO UFO files are gonna come out, we're gonna hear more about aliens, we're gonna see that there is clear evidence of alien life and that they're on, and a lot of people absolutely believe that that is the case, that they are here andor have been here, or at least exist. And so just simply throwing the question out to you whether they're here or not, or uh visited here or not, do you believe anywhere out there in the universe there is alien life?

I don't know, but I do know if they are, they were created by God, they are subject to God, they are subject to his son, and so here's my reason that I wouldn't. Because Genesis 1 says, in the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.

It is a story of creation, it is a story of redemption, and really the truth of the matter is God wanted to tell you the most important thing he needed you to know, and that is that he was going to send his son to redeem the sin of mankind. If there was another planet, I would think they would have the same story. Yeah. That's my opinion. Why why else did he create them? We clearly were created. We were created in a paradise, we were created in his image and his likeness. Why would he create aliens who's got these ears like this? Yeah, it's so silly. Um so you know, I'm not gonna argue whether they are or aren't. I I do not believe the devil could create them. I do not believe they could be a fallen race from the devil. Uh uh, I believe God is creator of everything. Uh and so uh my question would be what they all say, you know, why all these planets, why all these stars? I don't know.

Yeah, I think it's really cool. I think all of it points to um just the grandeur of our God, the incredible power and beauty of our God. That I mean you can go as far almost I I don't really know if this is true, but it feels like and seems like you can go as far down into a cell, into our being, cell by cell, all as as as deep you can go into space. It's like just so it's so impossible.

I think they said we our brain has a billion neurons or something. Something crazy. The numbers we have sixty miles of something going. It's just imagine sixty miles.

Oh, it's only I think that if you I really want to look this up now, maybe I'll Google it right now. But I think if you were to um take all the blood vessels in our body, something like that, and and put and just string them out, it would like reach the moon or something crazy. Um, just think accidentally.

Yeah. You guys got a lot more faith than me. That's the biggest accident. But I will say this as we're contextually on this. I do believe the devil has a purpose. And the devil's purpose is what was his initial fall? God, I'm going to make my kingdom above yours. Yeah. That's when he got cast down. And so the devil is still trying to establish and deceive people to come into his kingdom. Most people don't know that he took a third of the angels. That's just what? Yeah. You took a third of God's created angels that were created for those who would be saved or the elect, and you deceive them. So I believe he's still deceiving. I believe he's trying to deceive his church because he hates his church, he's trying to deceive the family because he hates family. These are the structures that he knows from God that could keep people in a place where they can receive from God, and he's he's bringing a lot of chaos on this earth.

Yeah, yeah. No, I agree with all of it. Just to jump back in here with if you were to uh stretch out all your blood vessels, arteries, veins, capillaries in an adult human body, and they were laid out end to end, it would stretch approximately 60 to 100,000 miles. This uh incredible length is enough to circle the Earth's equator twice.

And that's an accident. Apparently. Apparently.

Um so anyway, yeah, I I think um for me, I think there's there's two arguments, right? So people say this, that people go, we know that the universe is still expanding and is so vast and so massive um that it would be unreasonable to think that there wasn't life somewhere else out there because it's just so unfathomably gigantic. And then the other side of that coin is in order for there to be life, we are such an impossible and improbable, perfect gathering, whatever the words are, you know, like collection of things to result in life that it seems like there's no possible chance that life could ever exist. So many things had to be so perfectly aligned in order for life to exist that it seems like it could never happen again. Yet other people go, yeah, but it's so expansive and so large that it's unreasonable to think that it wouldn't happen. So both are existing at the same time. What's what's true? I don't think there's any other life out there, personally. And I just think that this whole UFO thing, oh, there's clearly we have evidence that there were definitely aliens, is is is demonic.

And and I I said told you this before, like I said, guys, we you can tell we don't script anything, we're just being real and raw. And uh but uh Alden's dad and um you could check this out. So many of the eyewitnesses of aliens, whatever, uh abduction, um seeing them, when they questioned them, they found out a large percentage of these people had demonic influence in their life.

And they found, and I heard this on Josh Howarton's Live Free Podcast. That in many of the instances, or actually I should say this, I think in any instance in which the person who's encountering an alien declared the name of Jesus, the encounter ceased.

And I believe your dad said that too. Yeah. Because they believed it was demonic influence. That's absolutely.

Now there's another story that Josh shared about an individual who was dealing with serious depression and couldn't get out of it. He was seeing a Christian therapist counselor about it. And it was this therapist, counselor Christian, did an incredible thing and was just asking, Hey, so yeah, I just want to check on any influence spiritually on your life that might potentially be there. You know, are you in in any occult stuff? Do you study witchcraft? Is there anything? And it was no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. And finally he said, Um, are you interested in or do you dabble in um UFO or alien life and things like that? And he was like, What does that have to do with anything? He's like, Well, I'm just curious. And he said, Yeah, yes, I study it all the time. I love the idea of UFOs and aliens. I study it extensively. He said, Do me a favor and just fast any and all, UFO-related, alien-related studies. Stay away from it and just pray and fast and pray. He said, The depression totally lifted from his life and never came back. There was demonic influence on it. There's no doubt.

There's no doubt. You know, I do teach a Bible class, and um it's growing unbelievable. So we have so many more people and so many. But one of the brothers uh said some type of show that he watched. Um and um when he stopped, all the depression left. Amazing. Where so many times we need to be delivered is just doors that we opened.

I know. That's why, you know, I'm not gonna get into this. We've talked about this and we're a long way away from Halloween, but I I do understand let's get into it. Uh it's no point. We did a whole episode on it. I do understand people uh who get nervous about like opening doors and opening portals to the demonic realm, and they say Halloween is that. We adamantly disagree. Absolutely. That's that's uh nonsensical. But I do think that it is obviously possible um for you to be inviting in potential um 100% influence from that from the darkness from the realm of the demonic that you're uh um not aware of.

Because I the I have a wonderful platform here, and uh I'll tell you a major one that people just don't know. Rebellion. You know what rebellion is equivalent to in your Bible? Divination, witchcraft. Amazing. If you just rebel against any authority, it's it's e and you are opening doors to demonic influence. He look he rebelled against God. Yeah, he's the first rebeller, and he took a third of the angels with him. It is it is so um, I think we should talk about it for a little while. It is so amazing. These seeming, even this nation in the 60s were rebelling against the government. We don't want to go to war, we don't want to go to Vietnam War, and I'm not gonna say with the war, but the principle of rebelling, I believe, put this nation into 50 years of unbelievable chaos. Yeah. Your generation is just the first one coming out and saying, stop, uh, again, our church is filled with young people because it didn't work. Pastor Stevens said in his research, the atheist movement has become our greatest revival tool. You lied. You said we don't need God, we don't need family, and we gave you 50 years and you were wrong, and these kids' lives are destroyed when you look at statistics of people who don't go to church and people who don't have a mom and dad. Uh, I had a Bible class where I asked 20 young people, just if it wouldn't embarrass them, how many of you grew up with a mom and dad and still have them? None. Zero.

And you don't think the devil had demonic? He is master, he is so much smarter and powerful than us, not Jesus. So if Jesus is in us, Jesus, but a human being, he is supernatural and his deceptive ability. And so I don't want you to be scared. And the Bible said, just be sober. Yeah, don't be deceived. He has one power and it's lying. Yeah. He's a liar. Yeah. And so everything God said, that's why God tells us to submit to one another, to love one another. He tells us, don't submit, don't love. He will tell you the opposite of everything God said, even with the tree. Oh, God said you can't eat from that tree. He knows that if you do, you will be just like him. That's right. What a liar. We'll never be like God. Well, he's good at that. And so I think that is the major thing for everybody. There is an influence going on in this world that is not from God. And it's because this world has rejected God and has received the devil's influence, not knowing it, I didn't know it. And they have made him prince and power of disaster. They have made him. His influence is what they're following. You could watch it Madison Avenue, you can watch it in Hollywood. It's like, oh my God, guys, look at this. And maybe his greatest natural tool are these cell phones, man. And now it can be used for good. We are, we Google.

But um just a quick sidebar. This is these are statistics. My parents' generation, number one divorce or breakup family is infidelity, which is the only thing biblical. Yep. My generation and your dad's money. Yeah. Your generation, statistically, the number one cause of breakups in relationships is that phone.

Yeah. Yeah. And it's really what they're watching on the phone. It's the social media and it's what they're doing. Their their connection to people, their ability to be connected to others, uh, should be a beautiful thing, and it is used tremendously by the devil, masterfully crafted to destroy us. 100%. And he's doing a good job of it, and you know, we need to rise up. Um, I I I I think I heard it said recently, which is pretty cool. Is that like these are almost like cigarettes back in the day where you had It's the truth. Oh, you had commercials where doctors were saying, like, my you know, my my doctor smokes marble. And it was like they didn't even know yet how devastating this was going to be to humanity because they act they actually didn't know. And like we created social media and these phones, we thought what a great thing. And it's like, no, this is devastating.

Because anything that God means for good, the devil means for evil. Yeah, yeah. And we can flip it. Anything he means for evil, God means for good. Yeah. I'm almost positive. I don't know if you can get a scripture up real quick, but I believe it. First, I I just found this 70-year-old man two years ago, and this is my new this is how I live my life now. And those of you who know me, first Thessalonians 4, 12, and 13. I'm almost positive if I remember wrong.

That's exactly right. Mine says this make it your business to live a quiet life, which I never did. Mind your own business. Never did. Yep. Work with your own hands as we have commanded you. Then you will know how to conduct yourself to outsiders, and then you will be reminded that you need nothing with God. Yeah. Wow. What principles? This takes you out of all of those. Yes. Everything becomes your business. It's amazing. I'm gonna just say something. I have a daughter, I believe you know that. Brought her in almost 13 years ago. Her life is not my business. These parents who think no, no. I'm supposed to train her, I'm supposed to love her. Her b everything she does is not my business. Right. That's the dumbest thing in the world. Do you know the first principle of getting married is to leave your mom and dad? I thought it was this this garbage. That's my daughter. I want to know. No, it's not your business. Yeah. No, we want her to be healthy. We want to love, but to snoop around into everybody's business and think that it's your own, it's unhealthy, it's ungodly, and it will lead to bad places.

It's one of the very many things that I am so in love with about the girl that I'm with now. Uh, she's just very private. Love you, Jules. Yeah, she's the best. Jules, you're the best. She is very private and she is very off of social media. She is very independent, and um, she's an extremely godly woman. And uh I got one too. I know you do. And it's it's a miracle. There's nothing like it.

No, it's the truth because those things, because I don't have if I wa I don't watch them, not because I don't I I know I'll get addicted to them. I know that I'm human. Oh, yeah. I don't watch a lot of TV. Please don't be me. I don't watch any news, I don't watch any of that stuff. I don't have Instagram, schmodogram, hop top, nick-nock, shadow gap, nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing. The only thing I let influence me is God. Now, it makes me a little ignorant on things. I have you, I have my wife, people who watch them, I don't want to watch them. No, you're better off. I don't want to watch them. I'm just constantly in a fight with my own uh because you know, the people that I see do don't end up. And it's amazing that um someone that I have seen seen their life really destroyed was someone who told me that that thing destroys more lives and allowed it to happen. So just because you know it don't mean a thing. You have to have, you know, uh for me, one of the most successful tools of being a not only a human but a Christian is discipline.

It is it is a it is a major thing to be successful. Get up, do the right thing, and go to bed. Yep. And and keep your uh keep yourself. The Bible talks about gossip and backbiting and um idol. Um it's just not healthy.

You know me, I won't even look. Right. I won't watch. Um if this is my opinion. In anything, if it was ever so 100%, everybody would see it. If only 10% of people are seeing it, nobody's convinced enough. If you had something that was so evidenced that you know how rich you would be? Oh, of course. They would show it to everyone. They don't. No, I'm not saying whether it is or isn't, but no. And here's the most important thing as we wrap up. If we believe in God and we believe in his word, maybe this will be a segue for our next one. People are, well, Pastor Anthony, how do you know what God says? Because he freaking wrote a book. Oh, yeah. He freaking wrote a book. I know the book. Many books. Well, it's one book with many different authors and many different writings to many different people. But the funny thing about that, and I don't want to put you on the spot, but who are all these things written to? Jewish people. Yeah. So you don't know anything about the Jews, you're gonna be in big trouble. That's right. Not understanding or ascertaining the voice of our God. And so if this supreme being had one thing that he wanted to convey, I don't give an F about nothing else. It's that simple for me. I don't give an F. If God didn't talk about it, why do I want to? Go spend your time. I want to talk about everything he talked about. And here's the real cool thing, Brother Alden. I got maybe 20 years left. I'm not sure. My first 70 went like that. I want to show them for Christ. I want to be a father. I want to be put in the ground and people talk about me for as long until he comes back. This guy influenced people, but those other questions, they'll be answered for eternity. I don't gotta do it now. I gotta do it now. I gotta work on making the body of Christ unify. I gotta work on loving people. I gotta work on healing God's people so they're not bleeding all over the place. I gotta train them to be disciples of myself. I gotta build the greatest army the world's ever seen to make disciples of every tongue and every nation. That's enough for my day. Yeah. I don't need anything else, nor will I pursue it.

I love it. It's awesome. So there's um this in closing, there's this movie that's really unique called Ad Astra. It's um Brad Pitt, uh, Tommy Lee Jones, and I don't remember when it came out, maybe a decade or so ago. But it's uh it's another space movie, right? There's some great ones, Interstellar, the Martian, Apollo 13, whatever. Um this movie, Ad Astra is it it's it's pretty cool. It's good. I mean, you might not like it, it's very slow moving, it's very artsy, whatever, but I'm gonna give you the premise and there's a reason why, and uh something that it uh basically the the ultimate conclusion that it comes to, which I think is kind of powerful if we look at it through the right lens, but essentially uh it's a future Earth. So I don't know, let's say it's 2055, um, and all of a sudden the Earth um is being hit with some signal um that is causing disturbances. Uh Brad Pitt's character's father, Tommy Lee Jones, went on a space mission decades earlier um to go out as far as Neptune, I believe it is, um, to send out more signals to prove the existence of alien life, to contact extraterrestrial life and and prove that it's there. All of a sudden the signal's coming back, and they ask Brad Pitt um if he would go go out there uh to get to his dad because they believe that he'll only listen to him and they're getting some messages that are concerning. He makes this extremely long trip, obviously, which is unrealistic uh for our time, but um, to get to Neptune, to get to his father, where he finally gets aboard his father's craft, Tommy Lee Jones, that is, to find that he has murdered his entire team because they all wanted to give up and come back home, and he's kind of lost his mind out there. Um and so, in talking to his dad, his dad eventually, Tommy Lee Jones, uh basically breaks down and is like, I've failed, I've failed, I've failed. And I love Brad Pitt's answer in this movie. He says, You didn't fail, dad. You just proved that we're all we have. We're all we have. There is no other life out there, we're all we have. And I I remember that line, it just like stuck with me how cool that was. Because really, we should be looking at that through the lens of he's all we have, he's the one truth, the one answer, the one way. There's only one way. But it was a unique Hollywood thing with the I thought it was kind of cool that like it was they they took a different turn. Usually it's like, oh, he's gonna find aliens. Right. In this instance, he didn't, he felt like a failure, and his son is like, no, you actually proved that we're all we have. Um and so I I certainly believe that we're all we have in the in essence that there's no aliens in extra extraterrestrial life, but I also just simply believe that we need to remember that he's all we have, and he's he's the one way, he's the one truth, the one life.

Why do I want to meet anyone else? I met God. Why would I want to find an alien anyway? Why are you wasting your life trying to hope that that's a thing?

And and you if we believe, then we will have eternity with him to understand all of his creation. We cannot ascertain that closely now. Yeah, all eternity won't even do that. Yeah, because he's ever expanding. Now is the time to find him, to encounter him, to let him heal you, give you eternal life, and sow your life into bringing that to others and leaving the greatest mark on this world, and that is bringing eternal life to a hopeless world bringing hope, a dying world bringing life, a sinful world bringing righteousness, a dead world, bringing them back to life. That's Christianity. Christianity is not bad people becoming good. Christianity is dead people being brought to life through Jesus Christ. That's what we offer you. Can we pray? Yeah, let's pray. Father, we just thank you again for an incredible, incredible segment that always glorifies you. We're open to knowledge, we're open to wisdom, we're open to anything you'd like to talk about. But my God, if you've missed the greatest thing, he said it this way. What if you gained the whole world but lost me? Lost your soul. What would it profit you? And then he gave you a challenge. So what would you give in exchange for your soul? What are you selling out for? My God, God's got everything for you. He's got good things. Jeremiah 29, 11, I have plans for you of good and not evil, of hope and a future. We speak that to everyone listening. You're not an accident. You have been predetermined by a loving God. You have been planned for good and not evil, for hope and a future. And so we declare that you would come to find out and receive and encounter Jesus Christ, who said, I am the way, I am the truth, I am the life. No man comes to the Father but through me. Try it. We have tried it and found it to be real. He loves you. We're speaking healing over your mind and your body right now in the name of Jesus. We're declaring it. We're binding anything that would bind you, and we are casting it from you, and we're loosing the power of his love and his healing upon you, and we're calling for your soul to be saved in the name of Jesus, for darkness to be transferred to light, for death into life. We've experienced it. Try it for 90 days, guys. Try it. What can it hurt you? If it doesn't work, we'll refund you all your misery. I promise you, once you open your heart to Jesus Christ, you'll never go back. He loves you and He's got a plan for you. We love you. We have a plan for you. We're at Eastgate Church, Google anything. We meet on Friday in a Bible class. We have something going on. We've grown exponentially from 50 to 100 people in 40 years to the last two years to six, seven, maybe even eight hundred at special events.
