Welcome back, everybody. Episode 22. It's incredible. We're excited. This is the Extremely Rational Podcast. My name is Alden Brown. You are PA. PA Pastor Anthony Beanie, Stud Muffin, the whole thing. Yeah, man. Oh man. We call it the Extremely Rational Podcast because PA tends to be a pretty extreme guy. I tend to be pretty rational in the way I think things through, and those things sometimes flip-flop. But we want to just be an ER for you for sure. ER, extremely rational. So if you need a place to come, to laugh, to uh get some biblical knowledge, you need prayer, you just need some questions answered. We'd love to be your ER. So we just appreciate you tuning in and uh enrolling with us. One of the things that we do every single episode facts removal. That's about right. We start with what we call the open mic segment. Stupid facts segment. The open mic segment is just an opportunity for either one of us, which is always me because you think I'm a knucklehead, um, to share anything we feel strongly about. Yeah. Um, this I don't feel so strongly about, um, but I want your opinion on. All right. And I think it's an interesting thing to, I don't know, dissect that guess a little bit. All right. So recently a friend of mine celebrated his 40th birthday, and for his birthday, I got him a bunch of different little things. But one of the things I got was uh two scratch-off lottery tickets. Okay. My question is if you were to give or receive scratch-off tickets as a gift, what's the amount of money that you'd have to win where you feel obligated to give a percentage in return, and what is that proper percentage?
SPEAKER_00Okay.
SPEAKER_01Well, I I think proper is a very poor word. Okay. I think a gift is a gift, so sorry to tell you.
SPEAKER_02Your opinion is it's a gift no matter what.
SPEAKER_01No, it's not my opinion, it is a gift. Agreed, but we're not this not betting on the Super Bowl. This is a gift. Oh, I'm just starting there. I started there. Go ahead. I'm not gonna I'm not gonna go into a Super Bowl where it's 10 to 20 percent that you give the bar or whatever you're doing. I'm going into that this is a gift. Now, if the dude wins a million dollars on my gift, well then I think I'm not going to say that he owes me anything, uh, but I do want to remind him that without my gift, he wouldn't be a millionaire.
SPEAKER_02Right. So but you just kill your own point. That's that's that's what I'm saying. You can't say it's a gift, but is it a gift? I made my point very well. Or so so what's the number? So my this is why I think it's a fun thing to talk about. You would say if you were the giver of the gift, that if the person won a thousand dollars on that scratch off, you wouldn't feel you'd be like, whatever. Keep it. But if they won fifty thousand, you would hope that they'd give you something?
SPEAKER_01Correct. So you want me to give you a little story? Yeah. You know that I cut my finger.
SPEAKER_02Yes.
SPEAKER_01And there were some uh people who were kind to me and really helped my case. I told them if I get twenty thousand or more, that I'll bless you. And that's what I did.
SPEAKER_02I love that. And that's good. I I'm trying to think it through for myself. I would feel like if I want I think the number for me is a thousand as the recipient. If I was given the gift and I won a thousand, I think I'd give at least a hundred dollars to that person.
SPEAKER_01You gotta give a hundred to God.
SPEAKER_02Of course. And then I think I'd tell the person who gave me the gift, like, hey, I won a thousand on this. It was really cool of you to give to me. Can I give you a hundred dollars?
SPEAKER_01I think that is extraordinarily arbitrary based on the person.
SPEAKER_02Correct. Agreed. Um but boy, would it be a tough pill to swallow. Like, let's say this friend of mine that I gave the scratch, like a million. They really did win a million, and then they were like, look, a gift's a gift. Yeah, that's a good one. And they're right. But it's like, oh man, but you want a million percent.
SPEAKER_01I promise you you'd never do that again. Yeah, my father would say that.
SPEAKER_02Isn't it funny though that you you there are people who are buying scratch offs in the hope of that one in a million chances or probably way more than one in a million, one in a billion, uh, that they'll actually win. But we're also like we s we know so much that you're just not gonna win that they'll buy it as a gift. It's like, yeah, just give three or four scratch-offs, but they're not gonna win anything. It's amazing. But yeah, I think for me the number would be a thousand if I would were to win. If I gave the gift to somebody else, I think like you, if they won a thousand on it, I wouldn't care if they didn't even give me anything back. But at some point, yeah, a couple of thousand in, I'd be like, Well, it'd be nice if you just threw me a hundred bucks or something like that.
SPEAKER_01And I guess it would depend on what type of financial situation you were in at the time, too. Yeah, that is fair. That is very fair. Uh Kat's not going to be happy that I just said that. Love you, Kat. Some of God. Um now. But I I still think it was a blessing, and uh that certainly we never expected. I can say this. I went to a highly regarded lawyer who's on TV. I will not say their name, and they said you will not get more than $5,000 for that. And we got six times that. That's awesome. Come on, man. That's what a blessing. It was a blessing. Uh yeah, really not that much pain, a little more uh discomfort. And, you know, the challenge of it, and I'm gonna talk about healing today. The challenge for me with sickness is the uh how it just changes your life, especially as ministers. We have such I have such a disciplined life.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01That when you change my life, um, that is more difficult to me than pain. You've watched me play softball and yeah, you fight through pain very well. Um it just uh that's what I don't like. And so we're going to be talking about healing today.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, we are. You mentioned softball. We're 11 and 1. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01I think you're clearly the uh best team in the league. Yeah, it's a little. Although you did get run roll. That never happened uh while I was pitching. That's all I'll say in our championship season.
SPEAKER_02Yes. Uh but yeah, let's let's talk about well before we talk about healing. Have you ever won a scratch? Have you ever won anything on a scratch off? Oh, absolutely. I think my most is a hundred.
SPEAKER_01You'd have to ask Cam, maybe I'm wrong. Yeah. I think my most 25. Yeah. Um I think a hundred. I think a hundred. That's pretty cool.
SPEAKER_02My grandma was a like Oh, she was the bet. My dad was she won a thousand twice. Two different occasions she won a thousand dollars on a scratch off. But I think at that point she had probably uh, you know, spent ten thousand dollars over the course of her life buying them. So she's definitely right still in the negative and well, any real gambler is not ahead.
SPEAKER_01Right. Sorry to tell you. Yeah, yeah. No. But when they win, they're very happy. And usually they're very generous. Yeah, true. My dad was. Yeah. Um, and um, yeah, that's just um we won't get into that too deeply. But let's talk, let's talk healing.
SPEAKER_02Maybe you need healing from a gambling addiction. We'll pray for you at the end. But um, yeah, let's get into healing.
SPEAKER_01So let you just gonna read that for me first. And this is what I want everybody listening who is a believer to understand the two acts of grace when you get saved. Now, there are so many things that God did for you, but there are two incredible things that happened that I don't think a large portion of Christians are even walking in. I'm not even sure they even know that they happen.
SPEAKER_02This is first Peter chapter two, verse twenty-four. He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.
SPEAKER_01You have been healed. So the first part, and I'm not going to, although maybe one day I will, is to understand that so many people think that grace is a license to sin. It's just the most foolish thing. That makes it so clear that you are dead to sin. Correct. And uh so grace is a power to reject sin that you never had with your old nature. That's right. The new nature gives you a power. I wish I could say it seven million times. I teach a Bible study on Friday night, which has been unbelievable, but it just seems like no matter how many times I tell them, they struggle with something. You're dead to you are alive to righteousness. You have power now to reject.
SPEAKER_02I think it's in Titus or maybe Thessalonians 1, somewhere it says that grace gives us the power to say no.
SPEAKER_01I'm sure that um you could look it up. I'll try to find it. But yes, great, and and really a better way to say it, it's the Holy Spirit has now empowered you. We are not powerless as Christians. So sad to see the church walking around in no power. But what I want to spend this time today is the second part, which where it literally says you were healed. And I'm gonna start with something that happened to me. If my dates are off, I'm sorry. But uh through a series of events, I have my wife and I never really had insurance. My wife and I never really went to doctors. Those of you who know me, my legs were so bad. Oh, I remember. They looked like if I took a step. I mean, one day we'll look at pictures. My legs were so bow-legged. I have the photos. You could drive a truck through them.
SPEAKER_02It was really wild.
SPEAKER_01Until I got to the point where uh I had to ask my mother uh if she would please give me benefits. I I just couldn't walk anymore. Really wasn't that painful. Maybe I can tolerate pain, but I couldn't walk.
SPEAKER_02Eventually it did. I remember you icing your knees, it started to get bad.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but that wasn't painful.
SPEAKER_02Oh, it's a lot of fun.
SPEAKER_01It just the swelling, yes, and I can't walk. Yeah, yeah. But no, the pain wasn't up, but I do have a high tolerance for pain. It's true. So when I went, got two new knees, that's an incredible thing. I got to play softball, um, win championships. Um the the uh physical therapist literally said, I have never seen anybody do what you can do with you. Two new knees. She pointed to a man, he's got one, he can barely walk. You have two new knees, and you look like that you didn't have knee replacements, and I know that's my God. And so that was wonderful. But then an amazing thing happened. So uh I think I was 65. I'm let's not quibble about the exact age. I said, Mom, seeing that I have these benefits, can I just go get? I haven't had a physical checkup, I haven't been to a doctor. I promised Carolina when I was 50 and 55, and I'm now almost 65. So I go. And about a week later, driving with your dad to prison ministry, I get a call from the doctor. You have a 17.8 prostate PSA, yeah. Correct. Now, the uh what you're supposed to at my age at then was zero to four. And he said, Um I would have a checked out as soon as possible. Uh immediately had a checked out, and he said it's aggressive, and you need to get an MRI. What's aggressive? The the cancer. It is a hundred percent cancer. Big C. Yep. It is a hundred percent aggressive. Now, I have been a preacher for 40 years. I have prayed, I have seen blind eyes open, I've seen everything. I've seen cancers removed. When it's in your own body, it's a whole different story. Dude, I can imagine. Oh my god. And so Caroline and I was sitting on the couch, and it was like it was like a death sentence, I have to be honest. My brother died of cancer, my sister died of cancer, my dad died of cancer, and um, I did not uh receive it well. The next day I woke up, and I'm not well, I won't even say that. But the next day I woke up and I put on Christian TV. And um I don't know what it was, but it was Freddie Prince. Not Freddie Prince. That's that's wrong. Joseph Prince. Freddie Prince is a comedian. Joseph Prince, see, we we we really don't plan these things, guys. Uh and what is he talking about but holy communion and the healing in holy communion? And literally giving testimony after testimony. Somebody had um I told you we didn't practice this. When your mind goes and they tell you, you know, as you get older, Alzheimer's? Uh Alzheimer's. Yeah. And literally they told the person, Your husband is in first age Alzheimer's, you need to get your affairs in order because there's no cure. He began to take holy communion every day and declare over his body, I am healed through communion, remembering Christ. And I don't know how long later he went back with his wife, two years, whatever, and the doctor is looking at the chart and looking and said, I don't know what to tell you, but your old timers is gone. Wow. Wow. That's the power of healing that we have in our God that I don't think we walk in.
SPEAKER_02I agree.
SPEAKER_01And holy communion is now listen, you don't have to do what I did, and you don't have to agree with me. But my Bible says that as often as you do it, remember me. It doesn't talk about a wafer, it doesn't it doesn't? It talks about a meal if you want to say that. I don't think there's a ritual, I think there's a remembrance. And I think the remembrance is this body was broken that you would be healed. And I bore your sins that you would be free. And I was resurrected, that you would be new. Remember that. Yes. So my wife and I just started doing it every day. Every day. And we went through the process. Um I believe I got um a year and a half of hormones because I was scheduled for surgery, and it was um when the virus was there, and so all hospitals were shut down. So I said, we're gonna have to give you a year and a half of hormones, and I think the last 90 days were going to be uh radiation every day for like 60 seconds. And um I went in, had it all year and a half, and went back, and I think that was four years ago. Uh I believe uh I was a 0.4, and I've I still have to go every year. My last three years, 0.3, 0.2, 0.1. That's incredible. And the doctor looked at it and said, Do you know that five years ago you had a uh 17.8 and your last three readings were zero point three, zero point that's just impossible. Not without God, it's not.
SPEAKER_02Amen. Not without God, it's not and again you had to go through it in a time when just general medical care was challenging because of COVID. So that's an incredible testimony.
SPEAKER_01Now we could get into well, why do you go to doctors then if you have faith?
SPEAKER_02Well, he can use them.
SPEAKER_01Absolutely. So maybe this is a poor illustration. I got old in here. So what would you call it if you couldn't see and you went to this guy and he gave you these pair of things you put on your eyes and you can see perfect. Does that sound like a miracle to you? It does to me. And and so God gives people wisdom to help us. Sure. I don't think that takes anything away from God. I've shouldn't I've said to everybody, the doctors, I honor them, I give glory to God. God is my healer. Correct. And I go to doctors because I believe he can give them wisdom.
SPEAKER_02All good things come from the Lord.
SPEAKER_01That's the all good thing. So I want to get into this part. So while I was finishing up chemo, very I'm sorry, radiation. I I I suffer with um sinus infections. And I've had for a long time. And again, I believe the Lord has begun to heal them, but because I never prayed, I always went and got antibiotics until one lady said, Dude, you you freaking can't take antibiotics every 30 days. That's what you I look at at your chart. Anyway, but I said to Carolyn, that's my wife, um, I think I got a sinus infection. Now, this is during the radiation, so I'm gonna go from my radiation, which is right here, right down the block to my doctor. I'm gonna get uh my antibiotics and I'm gonna be fine. And remember, I don't go to doctors, I don't do anything. Uh usually when I would get antibiotics in those days, it would be at a clinic. Okay. No more, I don't know. But now I have a doctor because of my knees and everything, he's right down the street. So they put that thing on your finger. Yeah, the blood oximeter, blood pressure, yeah. And I'm just sitting there waiting for them to say, okay. And they say, okay, we called an ambulance from your way to the hospital. Excuse me? Yeah, your uh heart rate is 220. Well, heart rate is what? And I first of all, is that bad? And they're like, That's high. You have no heart. No. This is no. How long? No, I have no idea what you're talking about. I came here because I thought so they rush me to the hospital, and the doctor's like, dude. And he says, uh, you have a thing called tachycardia. Tachycardia is I want to make sure I get it right. The electrical system that your heart beats through. And um, when it gets disturbed, you get arrested or stuck, and it will not come out of it. Okay. And either it's out of rhythm sort. Is this a big thing? Yeah, well, no, accelerated. And it's very common. Millions of people, millions have it. Sometimes it goes out for a short period of time over uh exertion or whatever. Of course, I've never had one episode where I was I've had them sleeping. They're like, dude, you can't be sleeping and have a 220 heart rate. Well, people don't know me. This extreme that I have carries right through my body, and I believe that's all of us. I know you have a lot of things. Uh so anyway. So uh we go through a series and they give me an uh an ablation. And for three years I have nothing. Walking down my driveway to a funeral. Now I'm not doing the funeral, so I'm not nervous. Boom, I said, Cah, here it is. 200. Off to the hospital, call my cardiologist. All right, that's not good, but one in three years, let's monitor, let's watch it. Second one comes Christmas. I don't even know if you remember. It was uh the our Christmas show. It hit again. Wow. And so the doctor's like, all right, let's have a second ablation. Okay, in January I went for my ablation. Now here's uh I went to now maybe this triggered it, I'm not sure. But I went to a very, and we're hoping to have this person sit here, uh, an amazing federal courtroom, highest in the land of New York. Can't go higher. Okay. These people put terrorists away. Our friend church brother is facing 30 years in prison for drug trafficking. And um, so uh uh a handful of us go, they take your watch, that's how I know my heart, and they take your phone, yeah, and midway through now it just doesn't click because this thing is so exciting and so amazing. I'm thinking I think I'm in one. But you know, you I'm what are you gonna do? Yeah. So it ends, it's an amazing story. We hope to have him here, but I can tell you that he was set free. Come on. And I hope to tell be able to tell his story publicly. Uh but now I get in the car for a two and a half hour ride and I'm in 185. So the first hour I just do it myself. So I've been in an hour in the courtroom, 185, and now I'm in the car. It's another hour ride. And so I say, because we're most ministers, I say, guys, I just want to let you know, uh, I'm having an episode. It's 185, and uh, I want everybody to pray.
SPEAKER_00Wow.
SPEAKER_01And um, you know, I probably should have gone to a hospital. I shouldn't have let it go that long, but I chose not to. So I call Carol Ann and I said, Have an ambulance there. I've been in an episode for a few hours. They'll pick me up. I know what to go through. And uh went in the ambulance. It was Wednesday, and they knock it down and they they monitor you. The other part of me, I think I've been in a hospital ten times for tachycardia. Every single time they say, You know, you're here for a heart condition, you have to stay over. I've never stayed over once, and I didn't stay over this time. They let me go. Okay. Now it's Thursday morning, I'm gonna take in a shower, going to the beach, and it hits again. Now it's two in two days. Now I've had two in four years, now I have two in two days to go back to the hospital. And now they say, We're not letting you go that quick. It's just, you know. And so I'm seeing many cardiologists, and they're like, you know, dude, why have you never taken medicine? I said, number one, I don't want to take medicine for the rest of my life. That was my choice. Number two, I had an ablasion and didn't have an attack for three years with no medicine. He said, I think it's time for you to go on medicine. So I've been on medicine since Thursday. So a couple of wild things. And um you know I preach Friday night. Yeah, and I in the hospital Wednesday, in the hospital Thursday, so I called your dad, but I think he was going to a baseball game. I called Tom just in case. I'm in the hospital. Tom, you know, you'll do it, it'll be fine.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01I'm in the shower at 2 03. Whoa. An hour before. I get out, I just sit down, and it's 83. It goes from 2.03 to 83 in 60 seconds. I'm like, cat, what I don't know. So I went and did the service, felt a little lightheaded. And so today is Wednesday. I'm not having an episode, but I am battling the medicine. Number one, I've never had medicine in my life. Okay. Number two, I am this extreme guy. As as much as everybody thinks they're extreme, they have never lived in here. And here. And so coming down like this, it's just being challenged. Um of just not being up here all the time. Yeah. Just being lethargic and you can get headaches, you can get dizzy. So number one, I am still declaring I am healed. But if you could say, guys, whatever you want, I don't think I'll ever stop taking the medicine. I believe that's what God's gonna use because I'm so hyper. Sure. And um my hyper is not slowing down. But um it is now under doctor's treatment, it is under medication, and I still will say that I'm healed, that I will never have another episode. Amen. And that even if I do, that God Himself will heal me in a way that my thing is I'm here to change the world for Jesus. I'm not here for anything else. I will have a great wife, I have a great life. Oh, but that's not what I'm here for. Yeah. And so I want to stay healthy enough to be able to change the world for him. And I can honestly say from my heart, two new knees, I think I missed two or three weeks' worth of church because of the need. Cancer, I didn't miss one church service. Four years now with a heart, I think I missed two services only because of when I got the ablation. So I am speaking in faith that this condition will not slow down what God's doing in my life. Amen. I choose to not let it. Yeah. Um, I work today in the church, I did counseling today. We're here, yeah, and we're gonna keep believing that that doesn't have power over us. Amen. And I will say to everybody, nothing has power over you. Right. I we are beginning to deal with really getting healthy, and you know, maybe we'll do I I I've never seen marriages in such disarray. And you don't know what he did, and you don't know what she did, and uh, I can't forgive him. And I'm like, guys, you have power to forgive him. Yeah, you do. You have authority to say it doesn't matter what you did. Hopefully, I'm gonna end with a couple of stories of that unbelievable power. And we have a man in our church who stood up and he said this. I didn't know this about him. And we're gonna have a woman on here, I hope, will at least tell her story. It is up there with Joyce Myers with the greatest forgiveness I've ever seen, personally, of and I don't want to give the story away. But this man stood up and he said, X amount of years ago, I left my wife for another woman and another family, and left my wife home with my family. And my wife was born again, and I was not. And this was my wife's response. I will not take it out on this woman that you're with, I will not stop you from seeing our children, and I will not divorce you. The rest is on you. She had the power to do everything right. She did. They are both ministers in our church today, sit in the front row, their marriages restored. She had the power to say, I don't care what you do, that's why would that affect me? Boy, do we need more of that? Oh my God. That is what the church we need to take personal and say, I can do all things through Christ, who is my strength. Amen. I can't. I believe, Alden, and you please can correct me, and our producer here, you can shut it off. I believe the Bible commands the Christian to love his enemy. Is that correct? Oh, yeah. Pray for those who persecute them. Yep. We can't love people in the church. And I go, we can't love our husbands and wives. Uh we can't love our children. Guys, we're throwing to church.
SPEAKER_02It's bad.
SPEAKER_01Guys, guys, guys. Oh, Pastor Natasy. No, guys. That's bad. Guys, guys, guys. And so well then you know this one. Um, but um I've been a minister for uh since 1985, you're doing the math, 40 plus years. It's been a very tough road. Very tough. My wife and I have um, you know, she made $80 a week for 30 years. I was promised a salary in 1985, didn't get a paycheck till 2002. So 17 years I made nothing. Uh today, we both, after 40 years of working, take home $370 a week. I could do that at McDonald's probably right now, I probably start at McDonald's. This is 40 years. We have no 401k, we have no insurance, nothing, nothing. We have now because Medicare. And so in um 2010, something came up that I thought was going to change our lives in investment. And my wife pleaded with me do not go into that investment. Please, we've already lost one home. Please don't do that to me. If you heard my side of the story, maybe you would support me more. It doesn't matter. I should have not gone in. I went in. And not only did we lose everything that we had accumulated our whole life, which was money, security, eight hundred and fifty. What do you call that? Equity? No. Credit. That's how high our credit was. It was almost perfect. We had zero credit. We lost everything. We were homeless. It is now 2026. My wife never said a word. What a woman. Never ever said, I told you not to, because she had power. I want to end this segment by so encouraging the body of Christ. Stop living like you're powerless. You don't know who I lost. You don't know who died. You don't know the pain I've been through. You don't know the do you know your God? He's not greater than that? Really? Really? And it's 10 years, 20 years? You guys can all say what you want. Yep. Say whatever you want. I I believe it's Romans that said, we have all like sheep gone to slaughter, which means we're dying daily. You know what the next verse says? In all these things we overwhelmingly conquer. Even in death we conquer. So you guys get mad at me. You could tell me. I don't believe it glorifies God by not being able to find a place of victory in our lives in anything that happens.
SPEAKER_02I agree. I agree. And we're not saying it's easy, but it's uh available. And it is it's your choice.
SPEAKER_01That's exactly right.
SPEAKER_02And it's gonna be hard, but it's your choice. And you can wake up and say, I have the power in and through Christ to choose him and to choose faith and to and to trust and to do the right thing in spite of everything being done wrong to me.
SPEAKER_01That's exactly right. Yeah, not easy. Because Christianity is not an option. It's that's right. And so to all the married, because I believe the devil, and he did it very well here in America, had two plans to destroy this nation. Number one, get rid of the church, and number two, get rid of family. And boy, oh boy, for 50 years. I believe we're coming back. But to those who are married, are you ready? And you can, it's all over the Bible. It starts in Genesis. It says this that a husband would leave his father and his mother, and he would cleave to his wife. And the two would no longer be two flesh, but one. And what I have joined together, let nothing separate. I challenge you. Obviously, if your marriage is not good, that means you're not one. Sit down and take whatever your time. You need to become one. Amen. Get rid of all of it. Yeah. Get rid of all of it. I have a new thing. When I do marriages now, my marriages end this way. When all the vows are done and everything's done, Kister Bri, before I announce you for the first time, I say, look at each other and say, Well, God has joined together, nothing will separate. That is your choice. Yes. So in the marriage vow, God said it's so holy that as soon as you do it, you're not two anymore. You're one. Yep. And now that you're one, nothing, that's your choice to call the commitment. Yeah. And through the Holy Spirit, we should be showing that to a world, not letting their culture slip into us. And I will end with this, and then you could take it. We used to go to the largest ministries meeting, um, probably from about 2004 to 2006. And a missionary came in. And I don't know where he was called, but he said when he went to preach Christ, whatever nation he was with, they said, We don't want to listen to your Jesus. You guys have a 50% divorce rate. This nation, our marriages are holy. We don't get divorced for anything. Why would we want your Jesus? I'm encouraging you. Be greater. Take this power. Let's change the world together. Let's get healthy. Let's choose to be different. Do not exchange evil for evil. Do not do that. Leave room for the wrath of God. Vengeance is mine. If your enemy's hungry, feed him. Thirsty, bring him drink. You will put burning coals upon his head. Therefore, my beloved brethren, never be overcome by evil, but rather overcome evil with good.
SPEAKER_02Amen. Hey, that's awesome, man. And look, I think for all of us, let's be encouraged. Healing is is in our grasps. It's ours. We can have it. We can call on the name of Jesus and we can walk in it. And I think everyone who needs it should be taking communion daily and like you did and just calling on the Lord.
SPEAKER_01I have to say this one more thing. Yeah. It says you were healed. So if you don't see it, that's it. So what does that mean? Do you know what faith is, guys? Faith is joyful expecting what you don't see. Yep. That's what faith is. You have no faith. That's what faith is. You're right. I have been joyfully expecting for 40 years to see what I'm seeing at Eastgate Church. Yep. And I never saw it. Now I'm seeing it. It's incredible.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01It's uh what faith is. Exactly. If you can see it, do you need faith?
SPEAKER_02Of course not. It's something that my dad has always been really big about, and he's always uh, you know, just pushing for that.
SPEAKER_01Of you guys who are encouraging you.
SPEAKER_02He's been somebody who's always and he's been on the show, and he's just somebody who's always desired um in within himself and for the church, it's just a far greater level of faith and expectation and understanding that it is already done and it's something that we need to claim and walk in. Amen. Amen. It is available to us.
SPEAKER_01Amen. Amen. Awesome.
SPEAKER_02Would you pray us out since you're the man with the healing?
SPEAKER_01So, Father, first we just look up lift up anyone sick, disease, infirmity, even pain, in the name of Jesus that it would go. And guys, we want to hear from you. We believe God's healing people. We believe God's delivering people, we believe God's saving people. This is what he said I stand at the door of your heart and I knock. If anyone opens up, I will come in. That's all you have to do. Open your heart. What's the worst thing that will happen? If it doesn't work out, 90 days will refund all your misery. I promise you. You will not be miserable anymore with Jesus. He loves you, he's got a plan for you, he created you, he'll sustain you, he'll keep you, he'll forgive you, he'll give you hope, he'll give you joy. Of course there'll be trials. There's trials without him, but there is eternal life now through that. So, God, we're declaring healing, we're declaring salvation, we're declaring that your church would get healthier than she's ever been, that she would be on display as the light of the world, that the world could look at us and see something they don't see in their world. Something that's attractive, something that's healthy, something that's healing. And because we have faith, we declare it done already in your name, Jesus. And for to you and you alone be all honor and all glory forever. Amen. Amen.
